NJ Housewives
And I thought I was in debt! I’m glad I’m not this chic’s neighbor and I’m not trying to keep up with her; can you imagine? This article is just something else right? Can you imagine being 11M in debt? I would be freaking out! So much for me Mafia theory because I’m thinking they wouldn’t be in that much debt if they had the Mafia behind them!
That house they live in is unbelievable, but I can’t imagine building and decorating a house if you can’t even begin to afford it. What are people thinking? She is crazy clothes shopping all the time and I guess we will see how it all unfolds! I just can’t imagine being 11M in debt. I haven’t watched the show for weeks, but I will have to check it out in the next few weeks to see if they say anything about it.
Nice debt problem!

I have been listening to my IPod lately and it cracks me up because I have ~2400 songs on my IPod right, but I can choose the shuffle option while I’m at work and it’s as if the songs have been chosen from a foreign person that has no idea of my taste in music. What is up with that?
I hit that shuffle button and some song comes on from The Doors. Really? I have never in my life listened to their music, I don’t know how it got on my IPod and I don’t want to listen to it today. I move forward………I get Cher……….not sure how the HE** she got on there except maybe from a friend of mine who is obsessed with her and I might have copied it over………moving forward………..Indigo Girls? Yeah whatever; I can’t even name one song they sing……..moving forward……………..Garth Brooks……….aaahh finally something I can tap my feet to and actually enjoy. One song down 2399 to go…ha ha.
I think it’s a mood thing for me or something because I will have a group come up and I think to myself, “not today” and I have to move on. I guess it’s the flow of the day. Today was more upbeat for me so I had to move through a lot of Sarah McLaughlin and sappy love stuff. I was more into the Aerosmith, Rascal Flatts, Prince and a few other fast moving beats.
I do find that I work and concentrate much better when I have music in my head. It seems just keep my mood higher and more focused in a creative way. It’s just the shuffle; the shuffle causes some issues in my flow. Yes, that is why we have playlist I know, but then I even complain about my playlist; they too get old. It’s hard to stay fresh isn’t it? As I forge ahead I need to just go with the shuffle don’t I? Open my horizons to new music and tap my feet to a different drum! If only…………..

I don’t know why this made me have a better day; maybe it’s just good to hear some nice news once in a while. We all know how I pulled for Robert Downey Jr. and thankfully he made a recovery and look at our Iron Man today. Sometimes we have success and sometimes we don’t, but the press just lives for failures.
“Corey Haim died of pneumonia and heart problems, and tests during an autopsy on his body found “no significant contributing factors” from drugs, the Los Angeles coroner’s office said on Tuesday.” Now I’m sure they will find another reason to bash this kid, but at least his mother can know that he died of natural causes and he had no drugs in his system. I’m not sure why, but I felt for the kid and I’m sure it was the charming side of him, but if he was truly trying to make it toward recovery this is a shame.
It’s always a shame when drugs or alcohol takes over some one’s personality. You lose them and I can thankfully say I have no first hand experience in this matter. Sadly I have it from a distance with a close relative and it wasn’t pretty. You lose your life, your family and everything that means anything to you.
It was just nice to see a nice report in the news for a change.

Everyone has an opinion about Ben and it’s all over the news and now the NFL has finally laid down the law and suspended him for 6 games. What else could they do right? In my opinion they couldn’t ignore it right? They didn’t convict the guy, but the NFL is going to punish him for bad behavior. It’s like saying, “a jury of your peers isn’t going to find you guilty, but we’re going to put you in jail regardless!”
My thoughts are; we weren’t there and they didn’t convict him of anything so I don’t think he should get punished. I’m sorry, but that is just my thoughts on it. I know I have to hear all the people telling me that he raped women, but that is my point - he wasn’t found guilty. I get the NFL coming along and doing what they are doing but in my opinion (again) they are just doing it because they want to look good in the public eye. So now the Steelers have to go 6 games without a Quarterback. Yeah I know its a selfish statement, but all of a sudden we are holding them to standards that we didn’t hold them to in the past.
They are human and they should abide by the law, but he wasn’t convicted. If they think he did something wrong then they can be mad at him and trade his butt; however this suspension thing is like a kid on a high school team. Now, if he has a drug problem or a drinking problem; OK put his butt in therapy and get him some help, but how do you help this “issue” that he has? Really? He is just a stupid, punk kid from what every one is saying so drop his butt from the league or let his butt play the game.
I’m too black and white for this suspension crap over something he didn’t get convicted for in the first place. We have no idea if this really happened or not and if it did I’m really, truly sorry for the girls, but at the end of the day he was found not guilty. Now we have to live through a Civil Suit and that just says, we didn’t find him guilty so lets go after his money to make him pay for his mistakes. Give me a break.
You pay these kids tons of money and it’s not even believable to the human mind, but that doesn’t mean you can own them and control them during the off season. They are just regular humans caught up in a fantasy world. Some can handle the fame; some can’t. At the end of the day it’s a bizarre world of sports, fantasy and when it crumbles it usually crumbles hard and fast.
So here we go, we start the season and Pittsburgh can’t have a real season because we have a kid in “time out”. How grade school is this? So much for real NFL!

Is this right up there when George Michael announced his big coming out? For anyone that didn’t know; I’m sorry. For all the women that didn’t want him to be; I feel your pain - for Ricky and even back to the George days.
Come on, I was in Jr. High School and I was naive………….I saw the short-shorts and the dancing around, but he was cute, really cute and he only got cuter and the 80’s numbers got higher. I didn’t want this man to want other men! It was just not something we wanted, but it happened. Our mother’s felt our pain because they lived it through Rock Hudson. Yes, they did so don’t have them tell you they didn’t.
They saw the pillow fighting with Doris, and they thought, “That isn’t normal” but it just can’t be can it? Well it was and we’ve all experienced a let down by a hottie guy! However, lets not pretend we didn’t know.
I still want to watch him shake those hips baby and just pretend he’s doing it for me!

This commercial isn’t being played over and over like the other choices for the Super Bowl, but it cracked me up the most. I thought it was the funniest commercial that they played through the entire game.
They just cracked me up arguing like kids on the couch and it was hilarious when Letterman was mocking Leno. Oprah did a great job in the middle too! I was surprised that it didn’t get more conversation or air time after the game.
I was wondering if anyone thought it was as funny as me? Just to have all of them in one commercial was funny enough, but the acting was pretty funny too!

Well you win some you lose some and I said if it had to be someone I was OK with Drew Brees. I can’t say it was a great game because our defense forgot to show up!
The Saints looked awesome and I am so proud of Drew Brees. What a great guy and he has been treated so badly by the NFL. I’m a huge fan and even though I am not a fan of the NFC, it could be worse; Dallas, Ravens, Vikings, Chargers………..the list could have one of those names up there and it doesn’t!
It was a good game and if we had to lose so be it, we lost to an amazing team and that’s alright by me.
My only disappointment came when the guys started to fight on the field. I know tension is high, but come on guys you are in the Super Bowl, the main game, the ultimate game…………….show some class and don’t fight like grade school boys. Other than that it was a pretty good game.
There is always next year right Colts Fans? Shoot I had us in a losing season this year so I can’t believe we were even IN the Super Bowl!
Congrats to the Saints and let the party begin in New Orleans a little early this year!

Battered and beaten, Brett Favre limped off the field for perhaps the last time.
His head down, the pained look on his face was brought on as much by an ill-advised late turnover as it was by a bone-crunching hit from Bobby McCray.
With the NFC championship game tied, the Vikings close to field goal range and mere seconds left, Favre made the kind of mistake he had avoided all season. He threw across his body toward Sidney Rice, and Tracy Porter stepped in front to intercept the pass, ending the Vikings’ chances to win Sunday’s game in regulation.

OK, so are they just playing up their injuries to have people feel sorry for them or is this for real? Most of the sportscasters are saying they are going to beat the Saints.
Honestly, it didn’t dawn on me this was A**-wipes team until this past weekend. I don’t care about the NFC and I just wasn’t paying attention to the fact that he was winning. Then it hit me that his stupid butt was in the playoffs and all I could think was, “Oh my gosh, this idiot is going to make it to the Super Bowl and this is just bad Karma for me.”
I have to admit right here and right now that if they are going to the Super Bowl then go ahead and let the Jets just take us out now. I couldn’t take losing to Farm Boy; that would personally ruin my year and it would only be February! I want to say Peyton could easily take Farm Boy, but again strange things happen during the Super Bowl games.
Regardless, I guess we have to get past this weekend and see what happens, but seriously the only good thing is that MAYBE is the freak wins he will retire into the pasture and we won’t ever see him again! You know that is all he wants right? Favre wants to prove his point so he can disappear in his egotistical, sadistic mind!

A friend of mine sent me this link and it’s really great. Anderson Cooper is just an amazing man. The video shows him getting involved in this child’s life and saving him from a violent fight.
He is not just a man that reports news on CNN; he is a humanitarian that goes well beyond limits and boundaries to not only report stories, but get involved in world issues.
He is an amazing guy and cares about the world around him. Great video.
