Well I broke the “before Thanksgiving rule” and put up my outside decorations this weekend. I have this in my yard by the way. Candy Cane Alley is up by my sidewalk, the puffy penguin is back to coincide with this new puffy Winnie-the-Pooh item and I have my greenery in the window. I have candles on my porch and I also purchased magnets for my garage the spell out Merry Christmas with some trees and lights. I couldn’t help it people, the weather was warm on Sunday so I went for it!
All and all my house is ready for Christmas on the outside. The inside is not decorated at all, no rules broken yet. Although it is clean and sparkly, just waiting for all the items to be placed in all the appropriate places.
I’m excited and ready to decorate - put me in coach - I’m ready!

shaun put our outside decorations up last wednesday, but we will not turn them on until friday. his only day off is wednesday and he’s not off this wednesday as it is thanksgiving week, so it was either put the lights up early, or be a week late and i was not going to be late!!!! by the way, we’re completely white lights this year. shaun likes colored lights and i’m so not a fan, but he went and bought all new white lights just for me. finally my house won’t look like the griswald’s!!!!!

I like colored lights, the white is just too pure and plain (go figure, ha ha). I need color to brighten the place up! I finally found a pre-light tree thank you from the high heaven’s! It has colored lights too! Of course my living room is all Disney and wait until you see my fireplace arrangement this year, oh yes, it will be awesome. I will take a picture and place it out here. I have Mickey and Minnie to stand in front of the fireplace and I have this candle thing (well you saw it the other night. I have disney lights to hang on the mantel and it shall be whimsical, yet beautiful. My dining room and kitchen will all match (of course) with all snowmen and my bathroom will be Santa this year. Bedroom will be red and white with cat accent and I’m not sure about Noah’s room yet, but I’m thinking Elf items! Tah dah, I will be done by Sunday and Jerry will have competition as always!
