They were talking about this on 102.3 this morning and I couldn’t agree more. One mother called in to say her third grader shared that some kid in his class was dressing as a Ghost Pimp. She was just shocked #1 that he even knew to say that and #2 that some parent of a third grader would allow such a costume.
They were also cracking on women my age or older that feel the need to relive their youth by dressing as slutty or as trampy as possible during this holiday. Why? When did this holiday spill into tramp night? What do they gain? If you are in a relationship does your man really need to see you like this? Do you not have fun during the rest of the year with him in the sexual department? If you don’t then get a life! If you are single is this how you want to “put yourself out there?” Nice.
You can’t walk into a store without seeing the sleazy costumes on the wall. Another caller said he works at the store and they call it the “Slut Wall” at the store since so many women come in just to look and choose the most trashy costume they can find. He said you wouldn’t believe the conversations they hear each year. How sad.
We decided next year we need to have a REAL Halloween party for adults- no trash allowed and have real fun. Yes, it’s possible to have a great party and not dress like a slut. Remember fun costumes and hanging out doing fun, scary things with friends; adult, mature people? I think (well I know) we can pull it off. It just make take a year to pull off the ultimate party! Well keep you posted people!
