I got a new TV last Wednesday and it doesn’t fit in my entertainment center. OK, no big deal Jerry and I say. We have moved redecorated countless rooms together and handled numerous situations just like this one. This is what we do. We will deal with it this weekend. Piece of cake.
We discuss it later in the week and analyze my living room. I have a very large living room area. The thing is though, it’s awkwardly shaped and their is a fireplace at one end. (this is a pain in the behind) Then you have limited plugs and a vent for the air and heat. The room is just a pain to deal with, but it has a ton of space. It’s a challenge.
We take it on based on where to put this TV with a new table to sit the TV on, but the thing is we can’t find a table for the TV yet so we have to pretend we know what size it will be and how much space it will take up. We also have to decide where the Christmas tree will go in less than 2 months!
This is a process that took an entire day and a few trips to various stores looking for the right TV table (AND we didn’t find one by the way).
All this effort because one new piece of furniture came into a living room. Is it worth it? I’m starting to think NO! We’ll see, if I don’t find the right table I may just give in and hang it on the wall!
