This is a dark picture, but it’s the front of the stadium. I have to tell you it was an overwhelming place to visit.
This wasn’t a football stadium, it was a resort. I couldn’t help but think maybe it was just a little over-the-top when you consider we have starving children right here in the Indiana region.
There are restaurants inside, bars, not gift shops, but freaking department stores to shop in, food vendors everywhere, TV’s hung on the walls, real size race cars displayed in the lobby (remember we are sponsored by Lucas Oil), that big huge horseshoe in my pictures, the football player from the ceiling and it so much more. The stadium seats 65,000 people and let me tell you when you’re looking out over it, that’s a lot of people.
We ordered two cheeseburgers, one order of fries and two soft drinks………total…….$31.00. Yes, I typed that correctly. Are you kidding me? I think that is just a little over the top. I love Peyton, but I don’t think I need to be paying for his salary and his stadium with $31.00 for a meal I can get at Holiday World for $5.00! ha ha. It’s a little crazy and ridiculous.
I love my Colts, but this is like you’ve stepped into crazy, football world when you go here. Check your priorities at the door dude, the question is, “Are you ready for some football?” If so, get out your wallet cause it’s go time!
