What can I say; I love this man and he just plays amazing roles. This movie was incredible. John Cusack plays a father who learns his wife is killed in Iraq. He has to tell his two young daughters and struggles with how to do this.
He embarks on a road trip with his girls to an amusement park; a place they’ve always wanted to go. He has issues with how he left things with his wife; about her leaving as he was rejected from the service for his eyesight and they had words over her being gone from her family.
That being the case, he feels as if he has not only let his wife down, but his daughters. As the embark on this road trip he of course, gets to know his daughters, and they him. It’s a great story, full of love and family moments.
John Cusack does an amazing job at playing a father and a husband that has lost his spouse. I love this man as an actor and I don’t think he can make a bad movie. I recommend this movie to everyone. It’s GREAT. 4 Stars - A+
