Aaahh, the smell of fresh cut grass, the feel of the wind in your face, the squeals of three year olds running all over the field…………….soccer time!
It was our first game EVER and we were so excited; but had no idea what to expect. Our three yr. old totally looked the part I’ll tell you that. He was all smiles and jumped right out on the field to kick the ball around. Once the coach showed up the kids circled around in a huddle (how cute was that) and the game began.
4 quarters, each 4 minutes long and the clock doesn’t stop - Come on, they are only 3! It was the proudest moment of our lives and let me tell you they were SO cute. Some were eager, some just cried and some just stood on the field with a look of, “why am I here and what do you want me to do?” Parents were cheering for all the kids and both teams to score and it was just a great night.
Our three year old scored not one, but two goals! It was a very proud moment and we had 8 family members on the side lines. You would have thought he was playing in the Pros! He took to the game like a fish in water, but we need to work on picking up the ball.
It was funny, all the kids wanted to pick up the ball before they kicked in into the net. They felt they needed to line it up straight to kick it. It was hysterical. If you want a good laugh, you should stop by and watch these little ones play soccer. It made my night!
PS: Best part of the whole night………….snack time after the game……….total hit with the kids of course!

Well of course I have pics! What kind of soccer fan would I be? I will bring them next Saturday!
